The 2025-2028 Free Clinic Strategic Plan focuses on maintaining, and improving, our existing services while also remaining cognizant of the expected changes coming to our healthcare landscape. This includes an estimated 200,000-320,000 individuals who could lose Medicaid coverage. With less funding and programmatic benefits available, there will be less access for uninsured individuals and a likely influx of patients to free and safety next clinics. An additional 100,000-150,000 enrolled members of the Marketplace are also at risk of becoming uninsured. For Clark County, specifically, this could mean over 4,000 individuals seeking healthcare outside the traditional healthcare system.
