Regular business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Our office is open during these hours, but health services are offered only during the times listed below.
Medical Urgent Care Clinic Hours
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – doors open at 8:30 a.m. All available spots may fill quickly, so please arrive at least 30 minutes before the doors open.
Tuesday, Thursday – doors open at 5:30 p.m. All available spots may fill quickly, so please arrive at least 30 minutes before the doors open.
Please note! It’s a good idea to arrive at least 30 minutes before our doors open. We see patients on a first-come, first-served basis, and all available spots may fill quickly.
Dental care is by appointment only. You must first fill out an application. Applications are available at the front desk of the Free Clinic between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Due to a high volume of applications, the waiting period could be one to three months.
Vision exams are available by appointment only. If you would like a vision appointment, please come to the Free Clinic between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to fill out an application. We will contact you when an appointment is available.
You might have to wait one to four months for a basic eye exam. The wait for a medical eye exam such as diabetic, cataract or glaucoma could take up to one month.
If you have a family doctor: Make an appointment for your children’s immunizations with your doctor.
If you do not have a family doctor: The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington immunization services for children are offered:
- First and third Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
- Sign-in begins at 5 p.m. These clinics are walk-in, first come, first served.
- Please bring all of your child’s immunization records with you.
Limited immunizations for adults are offered the fourth Wednesday of each month from 1 – 3 p.m. These clinics are also walk-in, first-come, first-served. Please bring your immunization records with you.
The Free Clinic is closed on several major U.S. holidays. In 2018, we are closed on:
New Year’s Day: Jan. 1
Memorial Day: May 28
Independence Day: July 4
Labor Day: Sept. 3
Thanksgiving Day and the day after: Nov. 22 & 23
Christmas: Dec. 25
Offered on Friday mornings. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Spots fill up quickly, so please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the doors open. Nurses screen blood pressure, blood sugar (glucose), and the fats in your blood (cholesterol) for uninsured adults. For glucose and/or cholesterol testing, you must fast at least eight hours before the appointment.
